Problem Note 64668: SAS® High-Performance Risk might issue a warning message when the session encoding differs from the encoding of the cube
When running a SAS High-Performance Risk query task against a cube created from SAS® Event Stream Processing, you might encounter a warning message similar to the following:
WARNING: The Risk Environment that was loaded from the cube descriptor (version 4.1 (EX:100), encoding=latin1) has a different encoding than the current session (encoding=utf-8). This could cause problems with data string formatting.
To work around the problem, change the encoding to UTF-8 by adding the following option to the SAS configuration file:
-encoding utf8
The default location for the SAS configuration file is SAS-installation-directory\SASFoundation\9.4\nls\en\sasv9.cfg.
